As an operator of ammonia refrigeration compressors you want your refrigeration units to operate reliably and efficiently. To support you in this, we have developed Klüber Summit RHT FG 68 based on highly refined and hydrogenated white oils especially for the lubrication of ammonia refrigeration compressors.
As Klüber Summit RHT FG 68 is highly refined, the oil carryover is considerably lower than with conventional mineral oils. This will help you to reduce oil consumption.
The viscosity of Klüber Summit RHT FG 68 remains stable during use since it contains only a small amount of highly volatile hydrocarbons. Its high evaporation stability prevents viscosity increases and thus premature oil change.
The hydrogenated base oil is chemically stable and was designed in particular to withstand the influence of ammonia. While conventional mineral oils tend to blacken when reacting with ammonia and deposits tend to form in the refrigeration circuit, this is not the case with Klüber Summit RHT FG 68. Oil change intervals can be extended significantly. Due to the low solubility in ammonia, Klüber Summit RHT FG 68 contributes to refrigeration efficiency. Experience has shown that Klüber Summit RHT FG 68 can be used with evaporator temperatures down to -33 °C depending on the operating conditions. Klüber Summit RHT FG 68 meets the requirements of DIN 51 5031, KAA.
It is registered as NSF H1 and therefore complies with FDA 21 CFR 178.3570. Klüber Summit RHT FG 68 was developed for incidental contact with products and packaging materials in the food-processing, cosmetics, pharmaceutical or animal feed industries. The use of Klüber Summit RHT FG 68 contributes to increased reliability of your production equipment and processes. We nevertheless recommend conducting an additional risk analysis, e.g. HACCP.
