Kluberplus C2 PM2 Ultra Dry

Conveyor belt lubricant for the food-processing industry

Categories: ,

Description

The lubrication of conveyor systems is one of the critical challenges that you as a beverage producer face. Conveyor lubricants need to deliver on lower lubricant consumption, better cleaning effect, less residues on chains and at the same time keep your overall operational cost low. In addition to that, saving water and protecting the environment is an equally important factor.

Klüberplus C2 PM2 Ultra Dry is based on a combination of ingredients to address these challenging requirements. This product has been developed specially for a new innovative lubricating system from Jürgen Löhrke GmbH. The special nozzle in the LOEHRKE system in combination with Klüberplus C2 PM2 Ultra Dry enables individual regulation of the lubricant quantity on each track.

Due to this, lubricant consumption and the coefficient of friction management can be optimised. It is also possible to reduce the cleaning effort considerably when using Klüberplus C2 PM2 Ultra Dry due to less residue formation. Klüberplus C2 PM2 Ultra Dry can be easily removed from the belt unlike silicone or PTFE based products, where aggressive cleaning agents need to be used.

The current products available in the market are emulsions based on silicone or suspensions of perfluorinated substances (PTFE) in a base oil. Klüberplus C2 PM2 Ultra Dry is a homogeneous solution where the soluble raw materials do not get separated. This helps to prevent deposits (residues) on conveyor belts as well as in the application systems. This also considerably reduces the risk of nozzles getting blocked. There is no need to fit an agitator as no solid particles will deposit at the bottom of the lubrication system.

Klüberplus C2 PM2 Ultra Dry is registered as H1. The lubricant was developed for incidental contact with products and packaging materials in the food-processing industry. The use of Klüberplus C2 PM2 Ultra Dry can contribute to increase reliability of your production processes. We nevertheless recommend conducting an additional risk analysis, e.g. HACCP.

Benefits for your application

  • Lower lubricant consumption is possible due to minimal quantity lubrication *
  • Less bottles/cans toppling over is achievable because of better management of coefficient of friction (COF) *
  • Better hygiene status and reduced cleaning effort due to prevention of residue formation on conveyor belts and in application systems
  • Ensures reliable line operation as the product is free of silicone and PTFE, hence reduces the risk of nozzle blockage
  • Reduced operating cost due to lower water and cleaning agents consumption
  • NSF-H1 registration for increased process reliability
